The new cartridge model allows you to replace the unique Organic Carbon Filters which filter the water before, and after the permanent volcanic media layers. The carbon cartridges have been officially tested to reduce chlorine, chloramines, lead and foreign tastes and odors to typically non-detectable levels for over 3,800 liters, giving you safer, healthier water.

These cartridges will last approximately 12 months before needing replacement. An LED display tells you exactly how many liters have passed through the cartridge making it easy to know when they need replacing.
